27th & 28th September 2019

These posts were originally posted on the MoneySavingForums (a UK money management site), I am moving my journals across to WordPress to have them in chronological order. I’m not sure how much of other people’s words I’m allowed to copy across from one site to another, so in some sections I may summarise conversations.

Hey guys

I feel like I’m dying but it’s just the flu

Unfortunately this had led to some unexpected spends – £27 on some medicine from the doctor, £6 on some over the counter stuff, and some more on some tummy-friendly food that doesnt take too much effort to cook (all I had in were ingredients for a curry and I cant stand that long to cook right now)

Thanks for the well wishes

Stuck in bed w my laptop

I was filling in my debt and savings thermometers

My debt thermometer used my debt figure as of 12/08/19 (£1650.00) as it’s 0% – I’ve had two paychecks since then and paid off 28% of the debt

My savings thermometer I only started colouring in on 12/08/19 but I obviously counted the savings I’d accumulated until then so it started at 25% with an end goal of £3000. That’s moved a bit slower but its reached 31%
